With the rapid expansion of e-commerce, Internet Address related to trade names and trademark is going up in value. In this situation, domain name disputes are frequently occurring. It has been in need of Internet Address disputes resolution provider to cope with the dysfunction like cybersquatting etc and to set up mature information society.

The Internet address Dispute Resolution Committee(IDRC) was established on October 8, 2004 in accordance with Article 16 of the Act on Internet Address Resources. The Committee tries to prevent speculation in Internet Address and use of Internet Address in bad faith.
